After recent firmware update, i can't use my custom ringtone anymore and i do not like the ones on the watch! I paid big money for this watch and use it daily for work and especially for phone calls. Now, all my watch does is vibrate but no ringtone UNLESS i choose a default one from the lame list!

Why is this so hard to fix? Why are we, watch owners have to be limited to the crappy ringtones??? It's bad enough that GW7 faces are LIMITED and now the ringtones!

What's next Samsung, you gonna limit the exercises and the sensors too!!!!!!?

 

NOTE for those 'copy & paste' customer service people; My watch is NOT in vibrate only or sleep or power save or anything other than normal use mode! Yes, i did have my ringtone in the Ringtones folder and tried MP3 and OGG format. My watch is 4G LTE version, SM-L315U, S# RFAXA25531Z, L315USQS1AYE9 SM-L315UZGAXAA, System version 14, Wear OS 5.

P.S. Sorry for the misspelled 'ringtones' in the topic, Samsung keyboard is not very good in spell checking!

This is a peer-to-peer user help forum - not Samsung Customer Service/Tech Support.  No user here can help you with this.  Samsung programmers do not respond to or take action on complaints here.  You will have to submit feedback through the proper channel to have this addressed.

I went to that link and not much help there. I have a OnePlus 10 Pro so Samsung Members App is not compatible with my device and the Wear app does not have any Contact or Help to click on to submit any issues.

You can't get the Members app if you do not have a Samsung phone and, unfortunately, there is no feedback link in the web application.  This really does blow for people who have mixed devices.  Unfortunately, all error reporting takes place through the support tab of the Members app.  I guess the aim is to "persuade" people to have all Samsung devices.  Since you otherwise have no way to send feedback, I suggest this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/email-the-ceo/

Ok, i've sent a email to the CEO (not holding my breath) and will post a reply IF i ever get one about this issue. In the meantime, if anyone reads this, DO NOT update your watch firmware as it ony updates, well, nothing really and may further LIMIT the use of this great galaxy watch! You have been warned..

I've received a response from the CEO of Samsung:

It doesn't make me feel any better receiving such replies from Samsung and i don't expect any changes in future updates because they have hundreds or maybe thousands of beta testers before they push any updates and if they cared, they would of fixed it before it made a huge mess!
