I just got one ui 8, and enabled youtube in now brief (and picked my google account), but the recommendations are totally random and not personalized. I have youtube history on in google activities. Is this working correctly for anyone?
Mine took a few days to start getting personalized video results.

I have the same problem, totally random recommendations like if you never logged in. What I think is that when you choose your Google account you don't actually choose your Channel, which is the one that has your history and recommendations, it's just taking your main account which sometimes doesn't even have an active YouTube channel. I guess they need to allow us to choose which channel it will take the feedback from.
