For me it is fine and has been from the first one (except one minor issue with an overlay problem in the quick panel in beta 1 that was fixed). For those who have not used any of the betas yet, keep expectations very low for anything that will be eye popping in looks. IMO, it is seriously the most underwhelming beta I have ever tried during 7 years of doing betas. Aside from what recent Good Lock plugins updated to work with the latest beta and what they can do (some are pretty cool), there is no visible change from the UI 8 appearance from the UI 7.
