White Balance Broken for Samsung Log in Pro Video Mode

Using the native Samsung app in 'Pro Video' mode on S25 Ultra, if you lock white balance it suddenly changes and adds an ugly magenta shift to the image that is near impossible to color correct for in post.

As soon as you exit manual white balance and revert to auto white balance it can achieve a more natural look image.

Can you please fix the white balance issues? Currently this is anything but 'pro video' when you're unable to lock white balance without it ruining the image in Samsung Log.

Samsung please fix this, we love the phone for many good reasons, don't lose us on this! The magenta tint should be an easy fix for your developers along side with the green tint present in the photo and video editor.

Just wanted to provide an update on my S25 Ultra: I'm still experiencing an issue in Pro Video mode where the white balance and exposure exhibit subtle, yet rapid, shifts. This occurs even with WB and exposure locked in the settings. The inconsistency is particularly noticeable in changing ambient light conditions, making log footage difficult to grade in post. It appears to be an internal processing bug rather than a user error.

I have a dedicated shooting space with light stands, and I need to use my S25 Ultra for video recording. I found out that I can’t use manual white balance , it gives a very prominent purple tint at the top.

I’m very disappointed. ONE UI 8, Android 16. Why did I spend so much money on S25U instead of getting an iPhone? I really wonder now.

Great question! I feel the same way. What's worse is this white balance bug has crippled all Samsung devices for YEARS! This is a long standing issue they refuse to fix.

Just bought a S25 ultra excited for Log capability but this problem makes me question my choises. Samsung that is unacceptable for a top of the line phone with such a high price tag!

Had this issue already with my old S20.

Still the same with my S24 Ultra.

This is NOT acceptable for phones that cost 1000 bucks and more!

Needs to be fixed immediately! It should not even be a bug that exists even one year but it exists 5 years+
