"Best" is whatever works to make your life easier. Search the internet for "Samsung modes and routines ideas" for suggestions and inspiration.

That would come down to your personal preference. Like mujibar said, whatever makes things easier for yourself. There are a lot of convenient and cool modes and routines to choose from.

You create your own routines to automate repetitive processes to make things easier for you. The possibilities and combinations are endless, but you have to know what you are trying to accomplish. Modes work similarly, but there are several pre configured ones, such as sleep and theater modes. You can create your own mode. All the pre configured modes can be edited to add actions and can be started automatically by conditions you set, or manually when you want to turn it on or off. You can only run one mode at a time, but you can run several routines at once, as long as they don't conflict with one another. You can also run a routine when a mode is active.

Right now, I have a routine to keep my phone unlocked under certain conditions, to notify me my battery is under 30%, to set my home button to double tap to take a screenshot and to turn NFC on/off when I open and clise Google Wallet.

I tried that routine to keep my phone unlocked at home, it didn't work for me. Maybe I should try it again. I have it set now to stay unlocked with Google with my hearing aids, that doesn't work so great either.

I have a mode set to keep the phone unlocked when connected to my home WiFi. It works quite well.

Add your home wifi to the routine, not your address. It works much better. Understand the extend unlock will only keep your phone unlocked for up to 4 hours at a time, at which point yoy will have to unlock it with a biometric (or pin/password, if you didn't set a fingerprint). It will also lock (for security and privacy) after missed call or notification, and after a restart (naturally). After 72 bours you will need to unlock via your primary unlock method.

In the case of your BT hearing aids, the time limits are the same. However, if you remove your hearing aids from your ears, I assume they automatically disconnect to save power. In that case, your phone will immediately lock. If you set it to remain unlocked while connected to a particular BT device, when that device is disconnected, your phone will lock.

I just set it up again. I used home as the place but the one thing that I didn't do before was increase the radius which I did this time. Thanks.

That's the mistake I made. I read your reply wrong and didn't use my home Wi-Fi.
