Transferring ipod texts to S25

I was able to move my iphone 15 texts to S25 but not my old ipod texts. How do I do that?

So I'm guessing you're talking specifically about the iPod Touch? I used to have one as well but **bleep** it was so long ago. Maybe they have a iCloud that you can use on your iPod you just need to sync it. If not you may have to resort to using screenshots and having AI Consolidated it all for you

Icloud isn't supported anymore for my ipod touch that is running ios 8.0 or earlier

1. Use a Computer + Third-Party Tool (Best Option)

Since Smart Switch can only pull from a newer iPhone or iCloud, you'll need to:

1. Install something like iMazing, iExplorer, or AnyTrans on a Windows or Mac computer.


2. Plug the iPod Touch into the computer with a cable.


3. Use the program to export the Messages database from the iPod (usually stored in a file called chat.db).

Is these applications free,

To view them it is free but to extract them it's usually a one-time fee of around 30 to $50

The only way to truly move them is to pull the message database (chat.db) off the iPod using a tool — and that’s the “export” feature they charge for.
