Trade-in process taking super long?

I have been buying Samsung phones since Note 3 and I always buy unlocked from Samsung.  I have never had issues with trade-in before and I always had trade-in completed within 2-5 days after my phone was received. But this time with the S25 ultra it is taking forever. I am just 1 day short of the 21 day window since my phone was received, Anyone else have not received their trade-in completion confirmation yet? I am hoping I get the email today as tomorrow will mark the 21 day period since my phone was received by Samsung.

If they haven't updated in 21 business days, make sure it's 21 business days not 21 calendar days, you can chat with Samsung via Samsung Shop app and they will complete it manually for you. I've had to do that with the last three phones that I've purchased from Samsung with trade-ins.

I’ve had to call every time to get mine manually completed because it’s always the last day and still no updates.

Also, look at the tracking number of the return shipper online to see what is going on and provide that info with Samsung.

@notedultra Usually they are pretty quick. But I do have one trade in that Samsung confirmed that they received on Dec 17, 2024 and still hasn't been confirmed nor denied.

My last 4 trade-ins I have had to chat to get them manually completed. 21 business days, I chat on day 22. Takes less than 5 minutes.

Contact Samsung directly either through calling or chat I had contacted them 2 or 3 days before the 21 day window was up because I hadn't heard anything from them within a couple hours after chatting I received the email stating my trade-in was completed

Mine took longer than the 21 days. I didn't care how long they took as I had the verification of device reception.
