I am trying to find out if anyone has smart call on their s25 ultra. I have been s25 Ultra with T-Mobile and the option for smart call to enable spam protection in caller ID is not on there.
The S25 Ultra I purchased through T-Mobile, it's my 1st Samsung purchase from a provider. I usually purchase directly from Samsung then actuvate later with my provider. I believe the issues we're both dealing with is due to T-Mobile. Per above comments and advise, along with @nullandvoid screenzhots, my S25 is missing the "Caller ID and Spam Protection." It's mozt likely removed by T-Mobile due to its own Spam Block feature that's now FREE. However, doesn't work well unless you purchase T-Mobile's premium Spam Blocker. Also, the phone app installed on our S25 is with Google.
I have T-Mobile, but not a T-Mobile phone - it's factory unlocked, so if T-Mobile removed the setting, they only did it on T-Mobile branded phones. You can switch your phone dialer to Phone by Google - I understand it has much better spam controls. You can also download Google Voice, set up a free number and forward all calls to go to that number - it also has better spam controls.
I must be unusual. Very little spam calls get through using the native spam blocker. Those that do, I block and report immediately.
Okay. The phone app on my phone is actually Samsung I was able to install Google phone which is Google's phone app but that's okay this spam calls it kind of went down so no problem thank you for the response.
