I got a lovely pop-up on my phone after the update for the supposedly stable UI 8.0 for Android 16 my phone was working fine until last night. Meanwhile I've double checked everything else. I've called, text messaged and posted on the Samsung help site today and it's been crickets.

I would suggest wiping the cache partition and if its still happening contact a repair center to have it checked out.

Step-by-step guide:
  1. Charge your phone: Ensure your battery is charged to at least 25%.
  2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Side key to turn off your phone.
  3. Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold both the Side key and the Volume up button at the same time.
  4. Release the Side key: Once the Samsung logo appears, release the Side key but continue holding the Volume up button.
  5. Navigate the menu: Keep holding the Volume up button until the Android Recovery menu appears.
  6. Select the option: Use the Volume down button to highlight "Wipe cache partition".
  7. Confirm the action: Press the Side key to select it, then press the Volume down button to select "Yes".
  8. Confirm again: Press the Side key to select "Yes".
  9. Restart the phone: After the process is complete, "Reboot system now" will be highlighted. Press the Side key to select it and restart your phone.

That does not seem like a Samsung alert, we didn't even get that toast notification in the beta.

I'd look into seeing if you've gotten some malware from one of those apps

I have the same problem as you have and there are some other processes that are now buggy. I'm on a S25 Ultra and I have done all of the diagnostic/reboot procedures to no avail so far. All the best to you and I hope the problem(s) will get resolved sooner than later!

Do as @GaryB82 suggested and clear the cache, which should be done after every update anyway. I also agree with @CrymsonDawn, that it looks more like malware than a real Samsung warning. But, just because neither they nor I ever got a toast like that, does not mean it's not legit. Something just doesn't look right about it. Don't click any of the options, reboot and see if it persists. If it's still there on reboot, clear the cache.

I would also try booting into safe mode and see if it's still giving that error. If it's not, that confirms that it's malware.
