Samsung S25+ not always sending text passcodes

This phone will not always send passcodes via text with some companies which you need to do in order to prove identity when logging in to different apps. If I do the call me option instead then it will work fine but those take so much longer to get through. Some don't have that choice for calling either!

If your accounts have the option to send to code to email, choose that -it's usually faster than the phone call.  Which messaging app are you using?  I think Samsung messages has a problem with OTPs coming from certain short code formats.  See what happens if you switch messaging apps.

My email app on this phone will not work either so that's why I picked phone call. Taking the phone in for a service call today so hoping they can figure it out.

No issues on my end with OTP's using Google Messages.

@Op no issues here at all on the S25 Ultra. Maybe its specific to the S25+? That is certainly an odd issue regardless.

Also, FWIW I am using Google messages and someone else said Samsung messages has issues with some OTPs?

I called my cell provider tech support and they were able to help reset a bunch of settings in my messages app amd this has fixed the problem.
