S25 edge AOD picture

I'm having a problem with always on display not letting me add my own custom picture to it it used to have an option to do that when I go to my gallery and select picture there's no option anymore to add to always on display can someone explain this?

The AOD has been linked to the lock screen since One UI 6.1 was released in 2024. Your lock wallpaper and AOD wallpaper are now one in the same.

You can still add AOD widgets and stickers via Lockstar, a Good Lock Module.

They do not owe you an explanation.  You agreed to the TOS, if you no longer agree to the TOS, factory reset your phone and choose another brand.

You can add your own picture, you just have to do it differently now.  You have to go to the gallery, select your photo, tap the dot menu, select "set as wallpaper", then select "Always on Display".  Your photo will now be on your AOD.  If you are not seeing this in the gallery menu, clear the cache from the gallery app.

Are you on OneUI8/Android 16?  If so, wait for LockStar to be updated, perhaps they will change it back to the old way.

No 15 oneui 7 but what's crazy is my s22 ultra is on the same thing and it works
