S25 Ultra 🇺🇸 model doesn't have 5g on Reliance Jio in India

Hello, I recently traveled to India and have used Jio network and doesn't support 5g on UDA model.

Any options for me to get it to work in India 🇮🇳? Traveling for work again

Have you check your provider 5G area coverage?

Coverage is available. Usa model is not compatible but have been told that it's just software update to make it eligible by those guys in India

Do you have a US model that you are trying to use in India?

You need to go to the Samsung members board for your area. They would be better at helping you with your situation.

The bands used can vary by country so that is probably what you are experiencing

India only has 3g and 4g towers

5G Bands used by Jio are disabled in S25 US model by Samsung by default. Airtel 5G works.

This is BS. My understanding is that the hardware capability is present but Samsung (in a fit of insanity?) has restricted its use! **bleep**

My son's iPhone 13 works just fine on Jio 5G as well as my wife's Pixel!!

This is Samsung's idea of flagship phone? It's a *mobile* device - why would it be restricted to a region?

My friend was just about to buy Samsung, but now, like me, will switch to a REAL flagship device. I am incredibly disappointed as I've only owned Samsung since the Note 3 and will NOT be recommending Samsung to anyone anymore!
