Make sure RCS chats are toggled in settings. If you just ported your number, sometimes it can take a while (up to 24 hours or longer) to initialize.

It should be supported on all carriers with Google Messages. Which carrier are you using?

You should contact them and ask about it.

I just switched my st service over to a new st phone on Friday and my rcs chats says disabled by carrier. I did the chat support they told me they no longer support rcs. I asked since when considering it was working the day prior and my bfs is currently working. They said as of this year when you transfer your number it will no longer work thats bs I already bought a new Sim I activated my service on earlier this yr and this wasn't an issue . So I called cs and that person told me it's not on their end. That I needed to go to a Samsung service center to have it checked. The code for the rcs disabled says due to carrier VERIZON it's not a Samsung phone issue. Im also not usually Samsung messages its google.
