Play Store App makes 3 button navigation nearly impossible to see since latest update?

I think this started after the one of the latest updates...maybe the September Play System update?

It only happens when I am in the Play Store app. I use the three button navigation. On all apps the buttons remain white. However, in the Play Store app they are almost as dark as the rest of the bottom area making them very hard to even see. They are there, and they still work, but they are NOT white. I cannot seem to find any way to make them as visible as they used to be! Anyone else experience this?

Are you using dark mode?

Yes, I am using dark mode. I have been using dark mode on all my phones for years. Like I said it's only when using the Play Store app that the buttons are barely visible. Not sure if this is just a bug? That's why I asked!

See what happens if you switch from dark to light and then back.

Yeah I tried that and everything else I could think of.

I use dark mode & gestures, but just switched to buttons to test this. Nav buttons when using Play Store are completely visible for me.

Try using NavStar in Good Lock to change the button faces and see if that does anything for visibility.

Also try clearing cache (and data, if necessary) for One UI Home.

I do use NavStar. I turned it off and the buttons do become visible although they look different from all the other screens. They are the outlined type that might be used by people with bad vision??? Clearing the One UI cache made no difference. No matter which group in NavStar I used resulted in them being there and functional but still very hard to see. I wish I could just turn off the four button selection at the bottom of the play Store app. Is there a way to do that... or move it to the top?

Sorry, those bottom buttons are part of the Play Store app and cannot be moved.

Not sure what you mean by "outlined type" of buttons. Is that an accessibility setting?

Normally these type of fonts are an accessibility setting on some phones. But right now they only show up on the Play Store nav buttons. They look like each button is repeated a little smaller within itself. Oh well, not a major issue for sure. I'm sure it's a bug or a combination of some setting somewhere.

Interestingly, when I open the setting page in the Play Store app the buttons at the bottom become clearly visible! But when I exit the settings (no matter the changes if any) they automatically get very dark again. ๐Ÿคฃ
