Phone/speaker low volume issues on calls

I FREQUENTLY have problems hearing callers with my phone or speaker. Is there a way to increase the volume or both. Have done all I found on the interweb. Is this a problem or just me?

The only way to increase the volume is to set it to maximum using the volume slider or volume buttons, whether you're using the regular speaker or the speakerphone.

You can change the volume while on a call. I don't know of any other way.

I have the same issue. It is not loud enough for people with impaired hearing, so to speak. Yes we know how to increase volume on the phone but it needs to be louder.

Downloaded an app called "X-Booster" (Google Play Store) that I'm trying out. Seems to help immensely.

My S25 ultra connected to Costco hearing aids initially utilized the microphone in the hearing aid exactly like it did on prior S20+. Very frustrating loss of function on very expensive new phone

THIS! My friend is in critical condition and a couple of the nurses are very soft-spoken despite my requests to speak up. A stressful situation is made worse by having to strain to hear every word. My Samsung S20 had similar issues.  With family & friends in 4 time zones. I mostly text, but considered changing companies because this is so annoying. Stop punishing us to protect users who can't listen responsibly.
