Hi everyone,

The problem is solved!! My sim-card was to old, when i got a new phone, i used my old sim-card, no problem, until i got this Samsung. Thank you for thinking with me!! ๐Ÿ˜€ 

Thanks for the help. A factory reset didn't help; I put my SIM card in my old phone, and everything works fine again. I'm returning the Samsung. ChatGPT's conclusion: "This problem is not related to Vodafone, the SIM card, or the settings. It's an S25-specific bug or defect. Only Samsung can resolve this internally or through service."
 

My 2-month-old Galaxy S25 has no mobile data connection โ€” it only works on Wi-Fi. Iโ€™ve tried everything I could think of: reinstalled the APN, changed the network mode, reset the network settings, turned off Wi-Fi and tested again.

After some troubleshooting with ChatGPT, it seems like thereโ€™s nothing more I can do. It might be a modem or firmware bug that affects some S25 devices.

Iโ€™ve been trying for 5 days now to get help via phone and chat. Two support agents actually hung up on me, and through the app Iโ€™m not getting any response at all.

Apparently, Iโ€™ll need to take it to a service center โ€” the closest one for me is in Amsterdam โ€” but that means Iโ€™ll be without my brand-new phone for a while.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

That's why my initial question was were they in the U.S.  However, the poster's syntax and grammar seems to indicate they are in the U.S., so my immediate thought was NY.  In any case, even with different hardware/software between regions, there are certain universal truths - calling is a carrier issue and diagnostics are on the phone.

Go into Settings, Connections, SIM Manager, and make sure that your SIM card or eSIM is showing up correctly. If it isn't, eject and reinsert your SIM card; if it's still not working, you might need a new SIM from your carrier. When I got my previous phone, an S22, my old SIM card did not work in it and the carrier had to give me a new one. If you're using an eSIM, contact your carrier about downloading it.

Thx, the sim card is good, tested it in another phone, its a problem in my new phone, i hoped someone had this also

Run a diagnostic on the phone itself.  Diagnostics can be found in the device care settings of your phone, or from the support tab of the members app.

done that, its also good, its an problem in my phone, i just hoped someone had this problem also, its seems to be a firmware bug, that seem te happen to some S25  phones

Simkaart is goed en die van mijn partner doet het ook niet, telefoon probleem dus... En Samsung is niet erg behulpzaam. Thx

This would be an issue for your carrier.  They are responsible for your mobile data.  If you've run a diagnostic on your phone and there was no hardware defect, you need to contact your carrier and have them re-provision your data feed.  That's why Samsung has been of no help to you.  They are the ones who tweak and push the updates, so if something got messed up, it's on them.

Dank voor de hulp. Terug naar fabriekinstellingen hielp niet, simkaart in mijn oude mobiel, de boel doet het weer prima. De Samsung gaat terug.

Conclusie van ChatGPT: "Dit probleem ligt niet aan Vodafone, simkaart of instellingen. Het is een S25-specifieke bug of defect. Alleen Samsung kan dit intern oplossen of via service"
