January 2026 Security Patch

Read that after installing January 2026 Security Patch, it was supposed to address Samsung blocking Google Play System Updates, but apparently not. Still stuck on September.

Online, one of the Sammy reports, don't remember which one. Just look up S25 January 2026 Security Patch. Article is on Android Authority pertaining to Samsung / Google Play System Update lag

Think your confusing the 2 the article was on the play system updating later this month the monthly security update or monthly update is not the same and dont come together

I know they are separate. Thought the latest Security Patch would allow Google System updates to resume.

It's not the uodate stopping it its samsung

Yes I know . My point is if Samsung has patched the Security issues, why are they still blocking the GPS updates? Does it have to do with One UI 8.5? I don't know.
