The icon will show as Google messages on s24 and s25 models its default messenger

I got the S25 ultra and my went automatically to Google messager maybe because I transferred everything over from my old one🤷🏾‍♂️

It's default app now samsung messages can get from galaxy store

On whichever app is used, press and hold on the app, the click the small circle with an "I" in it get to the app's properties. Scroll all the way down and look to see if it is downloaded from Google Play Store, or from the Galaxy Store. If from the Google Play Store, then it is Google messages. Google's app icon is blue chat icon with a white background & Samsung's is light yellow with a yellow background.

Where do you see yellow? There's no yellow anywhere in the Samsung Messages icon.
