I can't get Google Maps to import my Timeline data on the S25 Ultra. It either "succeeds" in 1 second and imports zero data, or "succeeds" in 2 seconds and imports ~30 days of my timeline data.
In my Sony Android phones, Timeline import takes ~10 seconds and actually works for years and years of history with the same backup import.
Anyone else seeing the same problem? I've already tried all the ways of setting up the phone: tried Smart Switch import, factory reset and tried manual setup, factory reset and tried Google import...
I am having this issue too. My 25 ultra imports my data from the backup taken on my 24 ultra. In settings, location, location services, timeline it reports that my 73,000 events since 2010 are on my phone but Google maps shows no data in the timeline view.
I'm havin the same issue trying to import from s23 ultra to s25 ultra. It shoes import is successful. I see my places on the bottom tab "you" but when to open explore or on the timeline section it shows empty
Yep, my timeline wont work on s25U. It just doesnt update/save anything since i started using it. Went in and turn on/off all location settings, even logged out of my old device on maps and still nothing on s25U timeline.
I also tried to import my old phone timeline backup and it takes 1 second and says complete. I scrolled back several months and a few random months show from my history but 60%-70% of my timeline including last 2 months doesnt show a thing.
