Galaxy S25@QueenRen I just tried this on my S25 Ultra and Fold 6. On both, Gemini set reminders in Samsung's Reminder app.
BTW, thanks for telling me that this is possible! Great feature!
{edit] Did you wipe the device cache partition after the update? I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.
To wipe the device cache partition:
1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

Galaxy S25Open Gemini on your phone or PC browser.
1: Settings and help
Saved info
Paste Whenever I ask to make a task or reminder, do it through Samsung reminders into the dialog box
Save it.
Tell Gemini to create a reminder on your phone.

Galaxy S25This started happening to me yesterday, and I don't have the Google Tasks app installed, it does it through the regular Google app. How can I possibly change this?? The "Saved info" thing does not do the trick as it does not let mw add that order. This is very annoying!

Galaxy S25UPDATE: For anyone having this issue, I finally solved it deleting my Gemini Apps activity. In the Gemini app, touch your profile picture, Gemini Apps activity, Delete. I chose delete everything from the beginning, and Gemini started using Samsung Reminders again. No idea what is this or why does it have any effect on the app used, but at least for me it worked!

Galaxy S25Hi all. Deleting Google Tasks, or the activity of gemini apps, was not enough.
I said something like "Remind me to eat in 10 minutes using samsung reminder". It worked, and the following reminders it just works as before.
