I lost my internal S Pen for my S25 Ultra the other day so promptly ordered another from Amazon, official Samsung S Pen, Model number EJ-PS938BBEGEU, however on delivery, it does not fit into the phone, only goes in just over halfway, and stops dead against something.
Have I bought the wrong S Pen? Says S25 Ultra on the box and it's an official Samsung product Model number EJ-PS938BBEGEU.
Also in advanced settings says S Pen is inserted when it clearly is not, I've looked for options to reset S Pen but there doesn't seem to be any.
I'd be willing to bet dollar to Donuts that it's not an official Samsung product. It's probably a Chinese knockoff. Plus, if the dimensions aren't right it was probably one made for an s24 ultra. My suggestion is to buy it directly from Samsung and send the one back to amazon.
I mentioned twice that is was an official Samsung one, I don't know how much clearer I could have been, I even put the model number written on the box. The product page had a link to visit the Samsung store, it came in a Samsung branded sealed box. I viewed many knock off ones before deciding on the official Samsung one. I beg to differ, Amazon has had many news articles regarding their inability to confiscate fraudulent items. So even though it says it's made by Samsung, came in a Samsung box, and it has the right part number, it doesn't mean it's authentic. Furthermore, if it doesn't fit in the silo, it means the dimensions aren't right. I don't know how you could believe anything otherwise?
Because I'm not stupid and know the difference between counterfeit and OEM items / parts, my point with regard to have I bought the right S Pen was that I didn't know if there was more than 1 type for the S25 Ultra. So unless the seller has also set up a duplicate store called Samsung store and populated it exactly like Samsung's Amazon Store then I'll lean towards the belief I've bought an official S Pen.
This was my first post in here and I came looking for help and solutions and all I got was assumptions and doubt.
On further investigation myself, it turned out the the original S Pen had broken in 2, with the broken piece remaining in the silo, upon removal of the broken piece, the replacement fitted and worked perfectly, so I guess you lost your bet this time.
