Galaxy S25
Hey, anybody experiencing unusual hangs on apps like YouTube or similar?
I thought it was a problem of connection but as other devices work with no problem I concluded something is wrong in my phone. Perhaps a recent update?
The only way to fix it is to restart the phone. ☹️

You can potentially alleviate performance issues by completing these steps for routine maintenence:
☆ Follow Samsung’s Best Practices Guide
In particular, clearing device cache is an important practice in order to clean up junk files and keep things running smooth.
See the guide here: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871?src=Shar...
☆ Use Samsung’s Good Guardians
Download Good Guardians and run its various modules. These modules optimize performance and can identify unusual behavior.
Download Good Guardians here: https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.android.samsung.utilityapp
App Booster re-optimizes your apps. This should be run after an update.
Memory Guardian helps clear up device memory and boost performance.
If the issue persists, it may be an issue with the specific app rather than with your device. Make sure the app is up to date. Go to Settings > Apps > Desired app > storage > clear cache. If that doesn't help, clear data. If that doesn't help, uninstall/reinstall.
If none of these steps correct your problem, send an error report to the apps developer (developer contact info available in Play Store Listing) to make them aware of the issue.
Hope this helps!

What are "unusual hangs"? Freezing? Lagging? Slower than normal? Please elaborate a little further.

Opening apps like YouTube, or even this Members app becomes time consuming. The screen freezes and only upon restart I can have the apps working properly for a while.
