Sooooo, I had this problem as well. Restarted the app, restarted the phone, no good. Back button still didn't work. Sent an error report through the app support and tried again and it worked but, yeah. Stopped working after I typed a message.
Same, always get this, and some of it takes them forever to fix, some never does. My play store hasn't auto updated in 2 years throughout several phones
I have had this issue, too. Has anyone noticed that their messenger notifications on their lockscreen are no longer showing details, even though settings are set to show detail?
Mine is acting super odd overall. My app will take me to settings half the time when I open a chat bubble. I can't use the back button on my phone to minimize the chat bubbles and messenger isn't sending or displaying notifications properly.
Another **bleep**ty update **bleep** out by Samsung. I regret every update since they redesigned it. Nothing has worked right since. My phone is more broken and buggy now. It honestly makes me not want to buy another Samsung product. If this is the kinda garbage they are putting out.
