I logged a report but they need me to basically monitor the phone and instantly send a report as it happens. It's not something I can devote a day to.

November update installed on the 24th late last night eastern standard time, but this issue has been happening for the last few weeks that I'm aware of.

When it happens;
* Always after a reboot, either by my doing or the phone
* sometimes when my modes & routine as I set dnd and disable all wake options from my watch 8 classic other than button, then in the morning it flips back. Unchanged since owning the 8 classic at release.
* today things were fine but once I got home and searched something back to no private dns. I wasn't required to input my pass code so it didn't soft reboot.

I the dns there's a toggle to not make changes to the network, it was always on before but I've turned that off over the last 3 days without any luck.

Is there some other dev setting I can use to force this dns? Basically all websites these days cover the entire website in ads making the pages unreadable. Till fighting your way past all that spam.

I don't want to install some other browser, I just want my p2.freedns.controld.com as it murders everything, even mobile game ads. Except YouTube but I use newpipe for that as I can download the video or audio (how I get all my music).

You don't need to monitor your phone at all times. You said it always happens under certain circumstance. Put in your error report immediately after one of those circumstances after checking that the condition occurs. The logs will contain the information the developers need. So, on your next reboot, check your DNS settinsg, put in your error report and then change the settings to what you need them to be. Generally speaking, you need to submit logs with 15 minutes of an events

Go back to your DNS private and after you set your DNS private put it back on the very bottom and press save

They are not asking how to do it, they are saying that it keeps losing the custom setting, which should not be happening.  They are asking if there are any workaround solutions to keep it from reverting.

S25Ultra - having the same issue, but not linked to any action. it simply comes back to Automatic, regardless of any action. Or at least, i could not link any specific action to the phone switching back to Automatic.
