Why do we have to go through all this trouble to install a beta program?

Galaxy S25You have to have T-Mobile or a Factory Unlocked Device to join the Beta its been this way with every Beta that Samsung has released over the years.

Galaxy S25But they are the only Carrier that agrees to participate in the Beta. Its up to the Carriers if they want to join and they all decline except for T-Mobile

Galaxy S25Samsung operates differently. They work with the carriers to distribute updates, and allow them to modify the firmware. If a carrier doesn't want to distribute experimental pre-release software, that's on the carrier.
I personally wish Samsung would bypass the carriers because the current distribution system is very confusing and results in all kinds of issues, but that's a separate discussion.
For the best possible experience, you should never, ever buy a carrier device.
Buy direct, buy factory unlocked, buy outright.
