Why do we have to go through all this trouble to install a beta program? 

Why they don't just do it like apple put the beta and everyone can get it that's boring

I tell ya. I was on the beta program with apple for 10 years when I had an iphone. Had a number of odd bugs but usually was fixed quick. I cant even get the card to pop up saying the beta is available on here. Its stupid imo.

If it doesnt show a beta program is available, your device is ineligible.

You have to have T-Mobile or a Factory Unlocked Device to join the Beta its been this way with every Beta that Samsung has released over the years.

I understand but this is so annoying T-Mobile is not the only company in US

But they are the only Carrier that agrees to participate in the Beta.  Its up to the Carriers if they want to join and they all decline except for T-Mobile

Apple largely bypasses the carriers when it comes to update distribution, including betas. Updates come directly from Apple servers and carriers are not allowed to modify firmware.

Samsung operates differently. They work with the carriers to distribute updates, and allow them to modify the firmware. If a carrier doesn't want to distribute experimental pre-release software, that's on the carrier.

I personally wish Samsung would bypass the carriers because the current distribution system is very confusing and results in all kinds of issues, but that's a separate discussion.

For the best possible experience, you should never, ever buy a carrier device.

Buy direct, buy factory unlocked, buy outright.
