Chrome Page Freezes When Scrolling

Hi All - I'm not quite sure how to explain this one. I just got a S25 Ultra. Often when I'm using Chrome the screen will become unresponsive on that page when I scroll down. It doesn't always happen but it is happening very often. If I open a new page, such as by clicking a link, and then start scrolling, next thing I know nothing that I tap or try to do will work on that page. I can't scroll it anymore, click any links, etc. It's just dead. I'm able to minimize chrome and the screen will work fine on everything else. That page will essentially be dead though. Any thoughts?

I have the S23+ and it does the same thing. Lately when I try to share articles I'll get a message that there's no source routing. Don't know what that's about.

Please make a new post for unrelated topics. Piggybacking on existing threads clutters the forum and makes solutions harder to find.

It is most likely your account that is compromised rather than the device itself. Log out of your hacked accounts on all devices. Change the password. Set up 2 factor authentication.

To ensure the device itself is secure as well go to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Device Protection > Scan Phone. This will identify any threats and determine if your device is secure. Delete any malicious apps that are detected.

Clear app cache for chrome. If the issue persists, uninstall updates and reinstall.

If still not fixed, send an error report to Google and try using another web browser.

I cleared the app cache and the problem stopped

It's started doing it for me and like you have just got my phone.

Still having the same problem. I cleared the cache several times. Haven't tried reinstalling chrome yet. sent a report to Google but haven't seen anything back.
