I don't use my camera often, but after the update i noticed depending how far the object I am taking a photo of will cause the focus to spazz out. If I back away it'll be fine. If I want a closer shot I have to use the zoom.

You can use tap-to-focus:

Open the camera app, point your camera, and tap on the specific subject you want to be in focus.

After tapping, press and hold your finger on the screen to lock the focus and exposure on that subject, ensuring it remains sharp even if your hand moves slightly.

Even if I lock focus or use tap to focus it fights itself to focus at close range. You can hear and feel the camera spazzing.

I have the same series phone and have no issues. Have you wiped the system cache after the update?

Yes I did clear cache after the update. I also tried again when I used the camera and it happened.

Sorry you are having that issue. It isn't suppose to be happening and sounds like a issue with the camera and needs to be checked. I would suggest contacting a repair center to have it looked at to see whats causing this to occur.

I submitted a log in case it's software as it didn't happen before the UI8 update.
