Galaxy S25Are Samsung Security Updates encrypted on the s25 and if they are what level of encryption are they? If you're not a Samsung representative, could you please provide me with your sources? Thank you so much.

Galaxy S25I use public wifi alot. Worried about man in the middle attacks rerouting an update. Hence my question about encryption.

Galaxy S25@thebunnyrules This is a user to user discussion area so hoping for a response from a Samsung representative isn't likely.
Why are you asking this question? Do you believe that they are not encrypted?

Galaxy S25Secondly, no, the security updates are not encrypted as a simple Google search will state this.

Galaxy S25If you are worried about interception of updates, I suggest you not download your updates over public wi-fi and, if you do, utilize a VPN - which you should do on public wi-fi as a matter of practice anyway.
