Are Samsung Security Updates encrypted on the s25 and if they are what level of encryption are they? If you're not a Samsung representative, could you please provide me with your sources? Thank you so much.

Not sure what you mean by "encrypted updates." Are you concerned that a bad actor could potentially push a malicious update to your phone?

I use public wifi alot. Worried about man in the middle attacks rerouting an update. Hence my question about encryption.

Why are you asking this question? Do you believe that they are not encrypted?

Firstly, a Samsung representative is not going to respond to this post, this is a peer to peer forum.

Secondly, no, the security updates are not encrypted as a simple Google search will state this.

Google search indicates they are encrypted but its Gemini with no sources. 

Other results on google are not hwlpful. Hence why I'm here.

If you are worried about interception of updates, I suggest you not download your updates over public wi-fi and, if you do, utilize a VPN - which you should do on public wi-fi as a matter of practice anyway.
