With the sheer number of bugs and issues with UI 7 which appear to finally be getting ironed out. Well some of them. Is there anyway to delay the upgrade to UI8 when it comes out? I would like to receive the security updates and other updates for UI7 but not go to UI8. I'd like to wait for others to deal with the bugs first and I upgrade once those bugs are taken care of.
That's what the beta's are for - to iron out the bugs. Every glitch for every user simply cannot be anticipated, no matter how long the beta's go on and how big the testing group is. People have a multitude of different apps and configurations on their devices, and different carriers (who enable or disable and add their own "features") and some glitches that turn up are either singular to that user/device or the reporting user was the first one to trigger a glitch. 99% of users have updates that go without a hitch - it may seem like more because you hear about them here and it seems like a lot of voices saying the updates blow. Many of the loudest voices do not have a real problem, they just don't like it for whatever their nit is to pick. Unfortunately, having an S25, you will likely be in the first batch to get the stable version, unless your carrier is busy messing it up.

Updating is not optional. You can delay for some time, but your device will eventually update automatically. Whether you read it or not, you agreed to this in the terms of service when you first set up the device.
