Make sure the wallpaper will fit the phone screen, if not it will be cropped. An easy way to fix it is to resize the image. Also make sure your setting your wallpaper with the Samsung Gallery app, Google Photos crops the photos into a square before setting it as a wallpaper

The issue you're experiencing with wallpapers being zoomed in automatically on your Samsung Galaxy S24 is likely related to the way Samsung devices handle wallpaper scaling. The default setting can crop or zoom in on your wallpaper, especially when using images that don't match the exact screen resolution.
Here’s what you can try to prevent this automatic zooming:
1. Set the Wallpaper Without Zooming:
Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style.
Choose your desired wallpaper.
Before setting it, you’ll usually be given the option to adjust the wallpaper. Look for an option to fit to screen or adjust the zoom level (some versions offer a toggle to "lock" the wallpaper size). Make sure you set it without zooming.
2. Use a Different Image Size:
If you're using a wallpaper with a resolution that doesn't perfectly match your device's screen, it will often be automatically zoomed or cropped. Try using a wallpaper with the same resolution as your phone’s screen (typically, for the Galaxy S24, that would be around 3088 x 1440 pixels).
3. Check "Wallpaper Scrolling" Setting:
Samsung devices offer a feature called Wallpaper Scrolling that allows the wallpaper to move as you swipe between home screens. This can cause the zoom effect.
Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style > Home screen.
Disable Wallpaper Scrolling if it's turned on.
4. Use a Third-Party App:
You can also use third-party wallpaper apps, like Walli or Zedge, that offer more control over how wallpapers are applied without zooming.
Unfortunately, unlike iPhones, Samsung doesn't have a simple option to just set the wallpaper without zooming, so manually adjusting the image size or disabling wallpaper scrolling is the best workaround.
