Galaxy S24Did they remove the mirroring TV to phone feature? I remember i used to do it years back and got curious about it so wanted to give it a try but seems like I can only mirror my phone to the TV and not the other way around. Does Anyone know Why? Yes I have a galaxy phone and yes I have a 2023 samsung tv

Galaxy S24Smart View still exists on phones capable of it. And the S24 should be capable. You can find it in the settings or by pulling down the Quick Panel. Your receiving device also must be capable of screen mirroring in order to cast to it, though. Most older TVs need an intermediary device, such as a streaming stick or box to cast to. Most newer TVs are capable. Not every device is capable of receiving, nor are all TVs able to cast. They are receivers only. I believe the phones are capable of receiving from a capable device (perhaps another phone or tablet), since there is a setting in Smart View to receive from another device. Only compatible devices will show up in that list.

Galaxy S24Can this be brought back? Right now my workaround is using my OLD Samsung tablet to watch my TV while cooking instead of my phone.
