Tapping lockscreen clock prevents unlock

Is anyone having issue with tapping the lock screen clock and being prevented from entering your password or using your fingerprint to unlock? 

To produce this issue, tap the lock screen clock and it will expand it to show the clock with seconds. This completely blocks any touch screen input so there is no way to input the password pin or fingerprint when the clock is expanded. The only way to get out is to press the side button to close the screen or wait like 10 seconds for it to time out. 

I've tried to disabling hold and touch on the lock screen settings and disabling roaming clock but that has no effect on this behavior on the clock lock screen.

They have hints turned off as do I on my side swipe for gestures.

Then try use the swipe gesture for the back button next time.

I don't understand, why are you tapping on the clock? Does your clock take up your whole screen forcing you to tap on the clock?

I have always just tapped on the empty part of my lockscreen.

Aod and sometimes accidentally tap the clock when grabbing phone. I never had this issue until recently.

As I recall it has always been this way. Tap on the clock it will always go to the clock with seconds. I have my clock on the top of my lockscreen. Always have, occasionally I would experience this. I use app widgets so I can see my battery widget and the 5 day forecast at a glance.

Oh I see. I actually don't use the lockscreen widgets so this expanded clock threw me off a bit.

Can we please have the option to disable this seconds clock.  

( it accidently gets touched and prevents the screen from locking when I hold my phone when walking)
