I was distraught to find out when I upgraded to Android 15 which I was excited about that I can no longer swipe a left and right in the app drawer. I can only swipe vertically. Why change that?

You can. Click on settings and then click on sort order. This way it's left to right again. Click on 3 dots on search on the bottom search bar.

You lose alphabetical order.

Yes, I know, but at least you get to swipe
right to left

And search thru tonnes of apps?  It shouldn't be difficult for them to give back that function while giving vertical.

Can't alphabetize horizontal. That took that away from us.  Why can't they give the choice?!!!

I get it, we all hate change. This has been a request from many
people for a very long time.
You can press the 3 dots in the search bar, and use sort. Using this settings it is no longer in alphabetical order.
You would have to manually sort.

Manually sorting is crazy.

Pretty sure they will fix it later, people asked for vertical to be added not to have 1 option removed šŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€:male_sign:

Yeah it's dumb... why remove a function everyone wanted to keep? Its a poor choice on their part.
