I can't tell if I'm going crazy or not. After the update, whenever I plug in my phone it says connected fast charge 2.0. Then charging shows 0 watts. After 15 seconds it will go to 8 watts, then finally up to 14 watts. It will never go past that. The tech has replaced my port, wire, and cable and still it does it.
Yes, I've tried multiple cables, batteries, and chargers. It's all the same. Settings have been changed, reset, partitioned wiped etc. Prior to update I would get 40 watts, usually 25.
Is this just a bug? Or a hardware issue? My wife's phone hasn't been updated but it's perfectly charges at 40 watts.

Since the issue started after a recent update, try clearing the "cache partition." This procedure can help resolve any performance or battery issues caused by old or corrupted system cache data. It's safe and won't remove your settings or app files.
Follow the steps below,
Clear the cache partition
- Shut phone off (shut down)
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
- When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Side key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, then press the Side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Side key to restart the device.

Have you tried reaching out to samsung support? Also, you could submit feedback to samsung through the members homepage > tap support.

Yes. They want me to send the phone in for 2 weeks. I asked why when their own repairs said it was unfixable

Samsung has an option with their partner ubreakifix in which they come to you for repairs of your device. Service availability may vary.

I was sent to a ubreakifix by samsung care. They attempted to repair 2x, replacing multiple parts. They said it was unrepairable.
