Samsung wireless charger shuts off after couple minutes of charge?

Why does Samsung wireless charger shut off after a couple of minutes of charge. I have tried move the phone I get a strong magnetic connection but the charge still stops

hi, does it completely stops and wont charge? or just it charges for a bit and then stops?

Charges for a couple of minutes and stops. Try to reattach phone multiple times. Once in a while I'll get lucky and it will charge

If the charger, or phone, detects over heating the wireless charging will stop.

Have you tried using different wireless chargers to rule out a failing wireless charger?

Brand new out of the box charger direct from Samsung

@Blu23 Unfortunately sometimes new devices have failures. I would try another wireless charger if you can.

If you're using a magnetic case to hold the phone in place while charging, please try charging the phone wirelessly without the case. To the best of my knowledge, Samsung wireless chargers don't have magnetic rings and the magnet field of the case may be causing some interference.

Also, check the compatibility specs of the wireless charger. I see that the Duo and Trio chargers are not compatible with the Fold phones.
