Does anybody know why the Samsung messages on my s24+ doesn't have the new RCS chat I even try looking it up on my galaxy store to see if the app may need to be updated but it no longer pops up on the galaxy store when searched and isn't on my apps library in the galaxy store but my partner recently just got the Samsung s25 and we downloaded the Samsung messages app from the galaxy store and it has RCS chat on his app
Yeah I am wondering why that is cause I always choose Samsung messages over Google messages so I noticed when my partner got the Samsung s25 we downloaded the Samsung messages app and it has the RCS chat and i tried seeing if mine needed an update or anything but it doesn't which sucks
We're at a crossroads with both then. Ugh! Since the software update, my battery is draining, and my phone is getting hot. I've had to take it out of my case.
I used to use Google messages back in 2021 and it'd give me lots of issues i like all the features it offers but sometimes people wouldn't receive ny messages when I'd send it so I had switched over the Samsung messages since sucks to hear they're removing it entirely I am hesitant to switch back to Google messages unless since then it's been highly updated and fixed you know
Been using Samsung for years and been using Google messages since it basically came out. Pretty safe to say that nowadays its one of the most consistent performers for messaging apps
