Galaxy S24Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can certainly understand the inconvenience of your S24 Ultra lagging after an update. The first thing to try is clearing your device cache partition, which can help improve device behavior.
- Power off your device.
- While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
- Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:
- Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.
If clearing the device cache partition did not resolve the lag, there's a possibility a third-party application may be the culprit. You can check with Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
If the device functions without the lag in Safe mode, uninstall third-party apps until the lag is gone when not in Safe mode.
If the lag is still present in Safe mode, it may be time for a factory reset. Be sure to back up everything you can prior (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002780/) then perform the factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/
If the troubleshooting did not help the lag, submit an error report via Samsung Members:
