S24 not updating?!

Hi all. I bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24 256gb from Amazon Renewed a few weeks ago. I thought all was going well until I realized I wasn't receiving any updates. I went to check for updates in the settings and got this:

"Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service center. 

Update information • One UI version: 6.1 . Android version: 14 • Current version: S921USQS3AXFC / S921U1OYM4AYB3 / S921USQS3AXFC • Security patch level: July 1, 2024"

Any idea what's going on? How do I get my phone to update? The s24 is supposed to have another 6ish years of updates..

I appreciate this. I'll bring my phone in tomorrow to see if they know what's up. If they're able to fix it I'll update this forum.

I just Googled your phone's model number and it is a US phone. You should take this problem to your carrier, they are responsible for updating your phone.

@DiamondDepth Your phone was an AT&T device. It could be carrier unlocked but it is not an unlocked model from Samsung. If it was factory unlocked, the model number would end in "U1".

Interesting. Seems Amazon must've mixed up the listing when I bought it, then. Because it was listed as factory unlocked. It is definitely carrier unlocked, because I am running tmobile on it. How did you identify that it was previously an AT&T device? 

How do I fix this? I don't think I can return it now. Do I bring it to tmobile? Can I do it myself?

Yeah please mines refurbished aswell and apparently '' fully unlocked '' someone said it's probably because I don't have a sim card, I'm hoping that's what the issue is and I have no idea who my carrier is or how to check. This is what my sim status looks like rn
