S24+ SM-S926U OVERHEATING ISSUES

Using the device everyday like normal not even gaming just staying on call with people on snapchat or using Instagram the phone stays at 90 degrees all day or higher and im not even gaming charging the phone while using it is a disaster it doesnt even charge properly because its too hot samsung yall need to fix this

@EthanPeterson 90 degrees Fahrenheit isn't an issue. if it was 90 degrees Celsius it would be something to discuss.

It gets hotter and its an issue charging my phone 90 degrees is an issue for me when my phone drains extremely fast due to the high temperatures I used to get expected battery lasting for a day and at 81 8 hours thats ridiculous and I had just charged my phone to 100 percent not to long ago

This was the estimate battery life almost never using it keeping a fan on it all day I couldn't even use my phone and this was the best but then as soon as I use it 8 hours estimated for 80 percent it doesnt even last me all day you cant tell me thats just fine

Of course it won't last longer if you are use it. Using it uses power. Power use=battery drain. The more you use it, the faster it will drain. 90 degrees is not an overheat level. My phone usuall is at 90-93 degrees, to no ill effect. If your phone was overheating, it would protect itself by dimming the screen, lagging, freezing or powering down until it cooled off. You can stem battery drain by making sure your apps are optimized properly and nothing unnecessary is running in the backgroud. Put unused apps to sleep.

if you download good guardians from galaxy app store than download thermal guardians it will show you what apps are making your phone hot

Had the same issue when I updated to ONE UI 7, my phone would overheat just watching a short video or surfing the net and when charging, so I joined the ONE UI 8 beta program thinking that it would fixed the problem but it didn't, it even got worse, needed to charge the phone 2x a day. So, I left the ONE UI 8 beta program, but to downgrade, all your files will be deleted, it's like factory resetting, had to backup all my files and proceeded to downgrading. Since then, my phone no longer overheating and last all day and then some.
