Galaxy S24I recently had a problem logging in to my secure folder in my Galaxy S24. I kept getting the error message stating that I was entering the wrong PIN. So Samsung said that the way I could reset my secure folder PIN is by resetting my password for my Samsung account. (I guess the option to reset the PIN for my secure folder would be an option in the settings afterwards.). So I did exactly as it had instructed me to do, I reset my Samsung account pw and then there's no option to reset the PIN for the secure folder!! Can someone please help me? Has anyone else had the same issue with their Galaxy S24?

Galaxy S24sorry but if you don’t have the reset pin step you would need to remove the delete the secure folder and re setup the secure folder since they are no bypass
If you've forgotten your Secure Folder PIN, pattern or password, and a "Forgot password" option doesn't appear, this means the "Reset with Samsung account" feature wasn't enabled. This feature is suggested when creating the Secure Folder for instances such as this. If this wasn't enabled, the only way to get back into the encrypted folder would be to delete the Secure Folder and it's contents, then set it up once again.
The easiest way to do delete the Secure Folder would be to enter your password incorrectly 20 times, then you will be presented with an option to delete.
The second method would be to remove your Samsung account through Settings > Accounts and back up > Manage Accounts > Select your Samsung account > Sign out. Then head back to your phone's Settings > Security and Privacy > Secure Folder > Uninstall. Once complete, log back in to your Samsung account and head back into the same Secure Folder settings to set it up again.
Once setup, you will find the password reset feature within the Secure Folder > 3 Dots (top right) > Settings > Lock Method > Enable Reset with Samsung acco

Galaxy S24Thank you for the response. I guess I am going to be losing all of my secure files, which are important, which is why you want to make sure they're secure correct? I'm mean I don't know about you but that's the impression I was under. It's so frustrating to bc I know I haven't forgotten my pin to the secure folder but I have no time to get into the back and forth in the possible game of, "You forgot your secure folder pin"!?! How could you? Haha....so I omitted it to save face, I suppose. Anyways I'm appreciative of your time and your brains when it comes to my issue and I will let you know what happens and if it works. Which I don't see why it would not. Be back in touch soon! Thanks again, Amber ☺️

Galaxy S24I’m so sorry, but yes, you’ll lose everything in that folder. It’s a good idea to keep a backup on your device too. I’ve got two external hard drives and a flash drive where I store my backups, just in case anything goes wrong!
