In the Samsung Keyboard, there is a red dot notification, that cannot be removed unless you have a Samsung Account, and accept the AI terms of service.

I have no interest in using AI on my phone.

Anyway to bypass this? There is another person asking this question, and the problem has been marked as "solved" it hasn't been solved, because you need to accept the AI terms of use, and privacy policy. For that issue to be fixed. Here is the link to the misleading "fix"

Don't see any comments in that post so not sure sometimes the red dot means a update

That's exactly what it means! it indicating that a new update or feature is available. It should go away after a set time, or Samsung should give people the ability to turn this off.

You don't have to accept terms of service (well, i didn't have to anyway) to get the red dot to go away on the emoji icon. Follow the instructions in that post exactly, and the dot will go away.

If you look at the screen shots I uploaded, the options you are talking about are not there. You need to be signed in to Samsung Account, and accept the AI terms of use for this option to appear.

Are you using a Samsung account?

Yes, I'm signed into my Samsung account. If you don't have a samsung account, how are you using the members app? Cause you need a samsung account to access the members' app.
I don't see any screenshots here uploaded by you. You not being signed in (using samsung account) probably does have something to do with it.

I am not signed in to my Samsung Account on my phone. This is the whole point of what I am trying to say. Samsung is pushing users to Sign in to an account by these subtle annoyances..

A Samsung account  is redundant if you don't want to use Samsung AI and others Samsung services that a Google account covers..why have both? A Google account covers just about everything else someone needs. I don't want a Google and a Samsung account on my phone. I don't even like having a Google account. These two companies are privacy nightmares.

All you have to do is see what Microsoft is implementing into the latest Windows 11. They are making it so users cannot have a local account. Why should someone be forced to have a Microsoft account to use their own computer. Once again this is a privacy nightmare, and is just another example of a company trying to gather private data, that is not needed for the service that is provided. Read the privacy policies! It's SCARY.

Ya, I understand completely what you are saying. When it comes to Microsoft, I have always had a local account and don't even have a Microsoft account. I even preferred Windows 10 over 11 and wouldn't update to 11 for the longest time cause of it. Microsoft is trying to phase out the local account option for users, and I do not like it one bit.
