I can understand how alarming this has to be. You can try starting your phone in Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is causing the issue. Please follow these steps:
1) Press and hold the Power key and Volume Down key together until the Power menu appears.
2) On the screen, touch and hold the Power off option until you see Safe Mode.
3) Tap Safe Mode.
4) The phone will restart and “Safe mode” will show in the lower-left corner of the screen.
While in Safe Mode, only preinstalled apps will run. If the issue doesn’t occur, it’s likely caused by one of your downloaded apps. You can then restart your phone to exit Safe Mode and try removing recently installed apps.
