One UI7 size of battery indicator is too small on my s24

Just got the new update oh my God it looks like a speck of dirt what were they thinking how do you read how much battery life you have left on your phone I had to get a magnifying glass That's ridiculous for the $1,000 that this phone cost. This phone should sing to me not make me have to chase down a magnifying glass to see and read information on it anybody know how to make it larger?

Yesterday I updated my S24 to One UI 7 and I don't see the battery icon.

They changed it to this horrible looking, very difficult to read, pill shape thing. And no, you can't change it! The best you can do is either take off the numerical percentage and just have a sliding bar, or remove it completely.

It's too hard to read! Apparently the font color picks up from your background color and is only a few shades different, they should have made the font color completely different so that it stands out.

Different than what?  Samsung does not know what color anyone's theme is.  Any color they chose is likely to blend in with *somebody's* theme.  Keeping it green, though should have been a no brainer.

This would explain why it's so hard to read at the best of times and unreadable on the black AOD screen. Being locked to the status bar and still so tiny (on the AOD) is also a terrible design choice. What were they thinking? smh

I see in UI 8 they are cramming more into the pill rather than improving it. Another smh

I'm using PowerLine and got rid of the battery icon with QuickStar. It's a ring around the front cam but shows up as a pie in screenshots.

Obviously, I'm not the only person with the issue of the miniscule battery indicator. I figured I'd just suck it up and deal with it. But it's almost virtually non-existent it at this point. its so tiny I feel like it has become a speck of dust. one would assume, of course, we should never assume that the Samsung team would monitor our posts. I guess they don't understand that we're complaining because it's too small, not small enough. I have to take a magnifying glass to look at it I've now got to the point where I have to go into my settings and check my battery life I'm sorry it's pissing me off it really is while I really like the phone it just is one of those annoying problems that I don't think for $1,000 I should have to deal with
