Just got the new update oh my God it looks like a speck of dirt what were they thinking how do you read how much battery life you have left on your phone I had to get a magnifying glass That's ridiculous for the $1,000 that this phone cost. This phone should sing to me not make me have to chase down a magnifying glass to see and read information on it anybody know how to make it larger?

Can I ask why, exactly, you need the visual indicator for the battery level?  Is it just for reassurance that your battery has enough power, or do you want to know when it's time to charge it?  If you only need to know when it's time to charge it, create a routine to notify you when the battery reaches a certain level and have it notify you that it's time to charge the battery.  If you want to know at various times of the day what the level is, you can create a routine to notify you at varying power levels: i.e. power level at 50%, power level at 30%, power level at 20% - charge battery.  Routine or no routine, your phone is going to notify you when it's at about 12% and puts itself in power saving mode and turns everything off and dims your screen.

Habit maybe? I will have to try your suggestion. It's technically 2 steps but shouldn't it be easy to glance at the indicator instead of having to compensate for a design flaw?

I understand, it's easier to just glance at the the indicator. But it's kind of like when you look at your watch for the time and then look again 5 minutes later because it didn't register with your brain. I still glance as well, but I did create a routine to notify me to charge my battery when it hits 30%. This gives me about 5 hours of actual use (in case I'm out and about) before I *must* get to a charger, and it's low enough to put on the charger immediately. I barely look anymore, so I'm mostly surprised when I get the notification.

I am a plain jane when it comes to wallpaper. I don't like my screen busy.

You can also go to settings, display, font size and style to make everything bigger

It won't sing to you but you can set up a routine to verbally tell you what the battery level is when it hits that level. I have one set to not only give me a notification when the battery is fully charged, I have it verbally say "please unplug me". I did have one set up to give a notification and also say "plug me in" when it hit below 20%. I got rid of that one after I found the hidden notification for when it hits 15%, it can't be found the traditional way in settings on my S24.
