No longer able to text in group chat using Samsung messages?

All my settings are correct!

Out of nowhere I cannot text in my group chats😒 it's telling me to switch to the Google messenger but I don't want to nor do i like the Google messenger. My text box is not even showing up for group text messages. Is there anyways to fix this without switching to Google messenger?

I have the same problem.  Group sms chats stopped working a little while ago.  What is the fix, there is no 'allow group chats' toggle button in samsung sms messenger
