Is my charging time normal?

My s24 takes almost 1.5 hours to full charge from 5-6%? Is it normal?

It shows "Fast charging" for initial 3s and then shows just "charging" Is it normal??

No! Have you tried restarting your phone? Cleaning the connection with a Q-tip light dipped in rubbing alcohol? Looking into to settings to see if your phone is enabled to fast charge?

Many people by aftermarket chargers and cords marketed as fast charging, I was guilty of this for years. I only charge my Samsung with "OEM," original cords and block. I will pay the extra amount to get a Samsung super fast charging block. And many of the newer Samsungs have in battery options enable super fast charging. I promise you wont be disappointed! If you are already doing this definitely look at whats draining your battery usage, what is running in the background, notifications etc. Your phone might be working against its self when charging. Also check modes routines and settings etc that you dont have anything set to update or download while being charged.

Just plugged mine in at 11% and it's saying it's going to take 1.3 hours to fully charge. This appears to be very normal for my s24 ultra.

My S 25 Ultra will SuperFast Charge 2.0 from 15% to full in about 30 minutes. Note I set it to only charge to 90%

I'm going to say maybe and agree with "meself" there.

Are you getting the "charging"/"fast charging" from the lock screen or the Device Care app's Battery status screen? Only Device Care status would state the charging state at all times.

Also, how many times have you charged your phone since the last update? The UI8 upgrade might have reset whatever your phone has learned of your charging events.

Lastly, for comparison, my S24 FE likely charges 11% in the first hour in "charging" mode, and 13% in "fast charging" by my rough-averaging calculations. ("A grain of salt" is required here.)
