I've been having issues with my phone for a long time, ive done the troubleshooting and taken it in Repair shop said I need a new motherboard. Samsung said its ok without it.

How do I use my warranty
When I text samsung Help they do not reply, or they just tell me more troubleshooting

The motherboard is a main function of the phone or computer for example it should be replaced if not working if its under warranty I don't see problems getting it replaced

They told me do a factory reset and "to see" if that fixes it but the problem hasn't left just feels worse since the last update. how do i just do the replacement? I know my warranty is going to end sometime soon

A factory reset will not fix the motherboard problems or the cause if it failing can vary as for getting it replaced and this is only my opinion on this but the repair center should of done that perhaps they needed approval by samsung for warranty replacement again my opinion here on what happened if that's the case than need to get sansung to approve and if its the repair center who diagnose it than provide that info

Hello chibi-des, Welcome and thank you for being part of the Community. We know it is frustrating when you are experiencing concerns with your phone.

As the others have mentioned, the motherboard is responsible for the function of the phone overall. A factory reset would be recommended before sending the phone for repairs, even if it doesn't correct the issue. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002816/

The Samsung warranty is a limited liability warranty that provides repairs only for the phones. Here is a link with the details: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/warranty/

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
