This could be a sign that the pins are corroding inside the usb-c port. If that's the case, then the usb-c port would need to be replaced. I believe the only way to get this diagnosed would be to take it into a service center.

Sometimes it the charging port u using and not the phone itself. Cause I had that on my S20+ and when I used a different charger I didn't get the error so try changing the charger see if u get the same msg. Good luck 🤞🏾.

Sometimes in very humid weather this will happen.

Using a fan on the port sometimes solves this problem.

You don't have to have gotten your phone wet to have a moisture issue. If you live in an area with constant high humidity, this could cause issues with moisture in the port.  You should buy some port plugs and utilize them when you are not actively charging your phone or otherwise using the USB port.  On a positive note, your S24 has wireless charging, so any moisture issues with the USB port will not affect wireless charging.

I got the A16, and I purposely put water directly in the usbc, nothing happened, so your S24 should be alright

If they are getting a moisture warning, it means that something has already been damaged.  Just because the phone/port has basic water resistance does not mean you are free to just empty a glass of water on it.  The water resistance is meant to protect against accidental spills or dropping into a puddle, or ending up in a rainstorm.  Eventually, water will corrode components.  This is the case with constant humidity.  One should buy port plugs to protect against such incidences and to keep dust out when carried in one's pocket.

You may want to try cleaning out the port really good with rubbing alcohol on Q tip and let it fully air dry before using it. Be careful not to leave any cotton behind. You might have some corosion starting to form on the contacts. It doesn't take much for this alert to show up and render the port useless. It could have also gotten debris or moisture in there from the cable that you use. It doesn't always mean your phone has been mishandled. Be sure your cables are clean and dry.

It is not a "known issue" for the s24ultra. That tech should probably not be providing false information. The charging port can go bad several different ways and usually due to mistreatment. Most likely due to using the device while charging. Anywho, no, it is NOT a known issue for the s24 lineup. In fact, the s24 series is one of the number one best devices samsung has developed. 🖖🏻
