Galaxy S24+ distorted image/video messages

About 4 years ago I got a samsung galaxy 20 fe 5g edition and it has had a problem with sending videos via samsung messaging and it will distort the video where you cant even read or see and I got a new Samsung Galaxy S24+ and it does the samething but it will distort all recieved images and videos and send distorted images. Anyone know what could be the problem

You are using Samsung messages I presume.

Switch to GOOGLE messages and turn on RCS chat features. You will now longer have that problem.

ok thank you. just loved samsung but its been a issue since 2021

@Joshua2009 This is because the global standard SMS/MMS messaging has very small file size limits. Using RCS, as @Robin621k suggested, provides larger file size limits. 

But to provide the best video transfer, use a messaging system built for transferring large files. Instagram, WhatsApp, FB Messenger are examples of much better tools to use when sending videos.
