As the title says, the photos look like it was taken by a bad camera and enhanced by AI. I thought that maybe the screen protector is ruining the camera but then I tried the raw camera and it gives somewhat decent results.
I have the Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra, and it is supposed to have one of the best front facing cameras in mobile phones.
I have made sure to try all modes of intelligente optimizations, I tried minimum and it gave awful results in night. And again I do not think that it the problem. I also made sure that I didn't use face beauty.
I'm willing to bet you have some filter on to soften the picture. When you are in the camera app, click on the icon at the top right which looks like two sheets of paper on top of each other, those are the filters. I'm sure one of those is on.
